You already run this house. Plus is for the part nobody sees.
The chores are the easy half. The hard half is the list you carry around — remembering the recycling goes out tonight, noticing the towels, working out who is free on Saturday, and asking. Again.
HouseChores already puts the work on one screen everyone reads. Plus is about handing over the remembering, so it stops living in one person's head.
What Plus adds
Set up next week before it starts
Draft the next cycle ahead of time and copy forward what worked, instead of rebuilding the same list every Sunday night.
Hand over the running of it
Up to four people can manage the home, each with their own remit — one handles the chores, another the exchange. Sharing the admin is the point: it is the job that quietly never gets shared.
Free already gives you two.Say it once, out loud
Leave a voice note or a photo on a chore — what "properly clean" means, where the spare bag is — so the explaining is attached to the job instead of repeated to whoever asks next.
Star as much as matters
Mark any number of chores as the ones that matter this week and put them in the order you want. As one is picked up, the next moves into view.
Free stars three.Split a job between people
Some jobs are not one person's — clearing the garage, the big shop. Share one between several people and let the board keep track of the halves.
Somewhere for the house to talk
Free homes get House Notices — the person who set the home up posts, everyone reads, and anyone can react. Plus turns it into House Chat: the same log, the same place, and everyone can reply. Messages clear themselves after 90 days, and the wall tablet stays out of it unless you say otherwise.
Free posts notices, and everyone can react to them.Look further than this month
Step the calendar forward and back a month at a time, so work you dated into next month is somewhere you can actually see it rather than something you wait for. On your phone you can also tap a name to see just that person's month, and tap again to bring everyone back. Free shows the month you are in.
Free shows this month.See what the month actually looked like
A close-out view of the cycle: what got done, who took part, and a round-up of everyone's recognition. Something to look at together, not a scoreboard.
If your home uses House Coins
Set your own values
Decide what each chore is worth rather than being limited to a single flat value.
More than one thing to earn
Up to five kinds of reward alongside the first — screen time, a lift somewhere, whatever works in your house.
What Plus is not
It is not a nag. Nothing here counts against anyone. Points are a tally of what got done, never a mark out of ten, and an unfinished chore is information, not a verdict.
It is not a way to do more housework. Every feature above exists to move something off one person and onto the household — or onto the board, so nobody has to hold it at all.
It is not watching you. HouseChores has no analytics and no trackers, and that does not change with Plus. Shared screens show display names, never email addresses.
The house log, the calendar's month range and filtering the month to one person are live today on a board that holds Plus. Everything else on this page is still being built, Plus itself is not on sale yet, and the free board loses nothing when it arrives.
